The Liberal Democrats are the UK's third national party. However the Party has global reach and international connectedness beyond other national parties, operating independently and with its sister parties in Liberal International and the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
The Party is involved in human rights promotion, helping groups halt reversals of democacy, addressing international and civil conflict issues, and in the search for international best practice and co-operation.
These videos shed light on how Party members pursue these international aims, and sets out the extent of the Party's global reach.
The videos also explore the history and motives of Liberal Democrat members' international engagement. The breadth and depth of Liberal Democrat global reach comes through clearly in the video. This is useful for Party members interested in international affairs, journalists seeking background information, for potential members, and for donors to the Party.
